
Ecology North is working to support NWT communities and governments in adopting a stronger response to climate change. This work focuses on the following areas:

· Ecology North has produced two plain-language papers on Climate Change: Climate Change Mitigation, and Adapting to Climate Change
· Ecology North has produced a report and newsletter on the Gwichya Gwich’in (Tsiigehtchic) Climate Change Adapation Plan. Please call Doug at (867) 873-8897 or email him at doug@ecologynorth.ca for more information.
· Public educational workshops and film screenings, including visits to communities in various regions of the NWT
· Presentations on climate change for school and college classes, youth organizations and community group
· Hands-on workshops to assist Yellowknifers in reducing their greenhouse gas emissions through sustainable living programs
